Keep It Cool, Keep It Clean

Expert Care Instructions for Residential & Commercial Tinting

What to Expect After Tinting

Curing Time: After installation, it’s normal to see small water bubbles or a slightly hazy appearance. This is part of the drying process and will clear up on its own.
Drying typically takes 3 to 10 days, depending on the weather and window exposure.
Do Not Clean the Film Right Away: Wait at least 7 days before cleaning your tinted windows to allow the adhesive to bond completely.

How to Clean Tinted Windows (House or Office)

To maintain the clarity and performance of your window film:
✅ Use the Right Cleaning Products:
Use a mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner or simply mix water with a few drops of dish soap.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the film.
✅ Use Soft Cleaning Tools:
Clean using a soft microfiber cloth, soft sponge, or a rubber squeegee.
Avoid paper towels, scrubbers, or anything rough that could scratch the surface.
✅ Cleaning Steps:
Spray your cleaner lightly on the glass.
Wipe gently in circular or straight motions using a microfiber cloth.
Use a dry microfiber towel or squeegee to remove any remaining moisture or streaks.

What to Avoid

No Ammonia-Based Cleaners – These break down film and cause bubbling or fading.
No Scrapers or Razors – Even light scraping can scratch or tear the film.
No Tape or Stickers – Avoid applying anything adhesive to the film, as removal can cause damage.

Pro Tip for Longevity

Keep blinds or curtains slightly open during the day to help tint cure evenly in the first week. Regular light cleaning every few months will maintain visibility and protect the film’s clarity and heat rejection performance.
